Guest trickbag Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 yous should have looked into someone elses box and picked one that wasnt pitched, ricky.
Chalky Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Do you have a question about this particular record? If not what is the topic for or are you simply advertising the fact John has one on his auction? If so can I ask you use the website and ebay section please.
Pete S Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 because i don't have a box, i had to look in someone elses! https://youtu.be/J6eF7iiQmvI Should be in the media section for 48rpm singles

Maybe if you hadn't included all the links to JM and if he hadn't one up for auction then maybe it would have been ok, it's pretty obvious what you are doing.

Guest Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 its not ricky, but if it was, i wouldn't have it long i think its a different take on the fairmount one though
Dave Pinch Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 its not ricky, but if it was, i wouldn't have it long i think its a different take on the fairmount one though no its exactly the same take but the final 30 seconds after the sax break it seems to have been edited. oh and its pitched up a bit oh and like nolan chance its a reissue lol dave
Trev Thomas Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 no its exactly the same take but the final 30 seconds after the sax break it seems to have been edited. oh and its pitched up a bit oh and like nolan chance its a reissue lol dave thats never been confirmed dave
Dave Pinch Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 in fact its the sax break thats edited down.shame coz its the best part of the record dave
Dave Pinch Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 the fact that its got the fairmount number really tells you all you need to know plus as i say the sax break has been chopped .............and it not a particularly good edit dave
Guest Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 its strange how it seems to be in every top ten of rarest of the rare soul records, with a price tag of £5,000 over ten years ago, and yet to some, its 'nothing special',
