Weingarden
Beware the lookalike boots made in Detroit in the '80s...which themselves are probably pretty scarce at this point. Link to comment Social source share
Modernsoulsucks
Beware the lookalike boots made in Detroit in the '80s...which themselves are probably pretty scarce at this point. I was wondering about that. I always thought it was a very rare record. They pressed up a few titles didn't they including stuuff that wasn't originally put out. Im thinking [or trying to remenber] Miracles "Can you love a poor boy" ? Temptations "Born to love you" ROD Link to comment Social source share
pikeys dog
True, the boots are excellent copies - but the real deal have the Nashville matrix stamped iin the deadwax. Link to comment Social source share
Marc Forrest
...and to make it even more complicated, the original comes in two takes/versions, the rough punchy one everyone seems to prefer (the one that also got booted) and a more "mellow" softer take.. Marc Forrest
no wonder - £75 was very cheap. yes, I know, but after just having sold a Dynamic Corvetttes at only 280 UKP recently I couldnt really care anymore :o...LOL...truth be told, I found it real cheap. the spare I had before I traded for 150 UKP everal years ago. ;) Link to comment Social source share
Mclemore
there is a legit reissue (or so I was told) on red wax from the 80s. I think it came in a box set of rare Motown sides. Sounds amazing. Edited August 6, 2011 by McLemore Link to comment Social source share
