Winsford Soul Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 to get an all niter what applications do u need to do get a licence? can anyone advise? thanks Night Time Seriously I will try and find out the details we needed for putting on Winsford.
Guest Baz Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 You'll have to find a venue willing to stay open all night first, then they can put the application in from there. With the new laws coming in next year shouldnt be a problem
Ged Parker Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 to get an all niter what applications do u need to do get a licence? can anyone advise? thanks This depends when you want to run it. If after 25th November the venue will have applied for it's new hours under the new regime and should know whether or not it can open overnight. If it can then no problem if not it gets a little complictated as they should have applied for variations that will cover all eventualities and so a new application to vary will be treated as any new licence application. There may be the opportunity to apply for a TEN (temporary events notice) you can have a limited number (12) per year per venue. There must be less that 500 people attending and the event may not last more that 96 hours (not a problem that one). You need to apply at least 10 days in advance to the local authority and there will be a fee of around £25. The relevant local authority's web site should give you details of restrictions format etc. Good Luck

pikeys dog Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Plan it for a night when there isn't already a glut of Allnighters on... Friday night allnighters aren't very popular these days - can't think why... Only one that springs to mind is the Wilton. Maybe a niche for a maverick promoter?
