Gradings

NM - spotless record. One tiny mark/scuff/flame/scratch and it's EX. Many new records will not make this grade.

EX - Basically everything that will look and play great.

VG+ - Will have marks that may very moderately affect play. Might have fairly large amount cosmetic marks not affecting play.

VG - Lots of marks, should still play fairly well but not perfect.

Ramsey Lewis – Kufanya mapenzi (making love) – Columbia / VG+ / £10 (Ignore the artist!! Super hard and super good instrumental. Vinyl has jukebox marks but plays well. With company sleeve and jukebox slip.)

Lorraine Johnson - The More You Want - Prelude / VG+/VG+ / £55 (“The more I get, the more I want” & the album only “Let your love fall like rain”. LP is strong VG+, looks and plays nice. Bit of ringwear on cover.)

Gerson King Combo – S/T – Polydor (Brazil) / EX/EX / £40 (Rare Brazilian funk/rock LP with ”Mandamentos black” and the breakbeat tune “Andando nos trilhos”. Great copy with gatefold cover in shrink.)

Weldon Irvine – Sinbad – RCA / VG/VG / £30 (”I love you” and ”Music is the key”. Surface marks in general and a couple of scratches on the ”Sinbad” track, but the main tunes play well. 8-10 cm top split neatly repaired with tape.)

Leroy Hutson – Hutson – Curtom / EX/EX / £30 (Alltime classic LP. Great copy in shrink, only problem is an edge warp but it plays fine.)

McNeal & Niles – Thrust – Choclate Industries / VG/VG+ / £12 (2004 reissue that's all but gone now. Great funk/psych LP with the soul tune ”Summertime”, around 1000 USD on OG press. Marks but plays ok.)
