Just 3 original 45s up for grabs this time. All the vinyl is in Excellent condition, there is some slight brown spot ageing on the labels check the scans. As Refosoul is still under construction I've included YouTube clips just to remind you how damn good these 3 records are.

BESSIE BANKS “Don’t You Worry Baby The Best Is Yet To Come” mono/stereo (US Quality) WDJ Excellent £200. Always been brilliant. Always been chased by collectors. Competition between DJs has helped push the price upwards steadily over the last decade or so.

HOLLYWOOD FLAMES “Dance Senorita” (US Symbol) Excellent £125. SOLD

One of the harder ones on this label that doesn’t often turn up. After years in the shadows it seems to have gained alot of new admirers recently which has pushed its price up considerably. Don’t let the song title put you off – underneath it’s a rather fine solid piece of quality mid pace group harmony.

MELVIN ELLING “Lonely Eyes” (US Stretch) Excellent £100. SOLD

Super duper mid pace item that’s still under the radar, not known by the masses yet and still awaiting lots more potential dance floor exposure by them DJ’s..

History lesson part 1: The label was owned by Willie Lee McCovey, a famous American Major League Baseball Player of the time, whose nickname was Stretch, hence the label name and dinky looking little logo design. He played most of his career at the San Francisco Giants so I would assume that's where this label was based.
