Guest Dave Turner Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Hi Barry, late in the day but great show as always. Managed to give it a listen on a car journey which I especially enjoy doing. Soul Stirrers (Willie Rogers) fabulous gospel classic. Another superb Merry Clayton. Queen Emily showing quality soul isn't dead. Top for me as it's long been a big fave is Roger & the Ridley Sisters "Morning, Noon I Cry". Heard Roger Ridley's street stuff, what an artist he'd have been if he'd recorded more than the one 45. Looking forward to #321
Soul-Brother Posted August 2, 2011 Author Posted August 2, 2011 Thanks Dave.... I think next summer I will go away for 6 weeks....everyone seemed to be on holiday... and this poor DJ was slogging away in the studio Regards Barry
