Guest waynec Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 1st kings hall niter in stoke. walking through the doors for the first time and seeing the floor in full swing.the effect was that good it made me a regular after to many years as a part timer
Guest in town Mikey Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 My first niter at Yate. I wish I had not taken 5 hours before self consciously having a dance. I wish i could remember more about it, and where I put my wants list on the way home. I wrote down loads of names, (Gia Mateo, Ben Zine, Adams Apples) of songs i'd never heard before. Luckily for me a mate taped Soul Sam that night, and gave me a copy. Its only about 30 minutes in total but a treasure all the same.
Guest Andy BB Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 Maxims in Morecambe in about 1987. First 'Northern-only' allniter for me and the most off my face I'd ever been (Well, I was only 17). I remember buying the Sport the next morning sitting in my mates car absolutely amazed, terrified and ridiculously excited about the fact that they'd discovered the "Gateway to Hell" in Siberia and had recorded the 'screams of the damned'. I'd never heard of The Sport before and completely believed it, re-reading it over and over again in shock, was at least 20 minutes before it became clear as I turned to page 2 and beheld the wonder that was "The Boy From Atlantis"

wendy Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 I wouldnt like to relive any day in my life. But one of the best times ever was a Sunday afternoon at Cleethorpes about 6 years ago, when I first met Steve Cato. Had such an amazing night in his presence, will treasure it forever (and dont you dare imply there was smut involved)
