Value was discussed here on Soul Source earlier this year. In the past it sold for up to 300 quid when it was really in demand. Karl Marthon had one for sale a few months ago, offers starting at 100 I think. Don't know for how much it eventually sold.

If I'd sell my copy I sure would want at least 150 for it. Less than 90 copies pressed!

Spot on this time Benji, lucky to get one under £200, have only ever seen Karl's for sale I think in last 4 or 5 years. Does anyone know what Karl got for his?

minor typo. wasn't sure if exactly 90 copies were pressed so meant to say less than 100. just found out it was exactly 90.

The promo picture at the beginning of the thread was from popsike , with the following :

Various Artists Kent Soul(Inc. John Edwards-How can I go on without you, Sam Dees-Run to me + Art Gentry-This is my chance) Test Press/UK / only 70 made / given to DJ's only/rare/plain white sleeve Kent

Been discussed before, 90 copies pressed.

On a side note: 2 of them made it to Munich and ended up with me. I won a copy in the Shades of Soul competition, 2nd copy came a few weeks later from a local funk collector who got it from the Ace/Kent PR department and didn't like the tracks ("not funky enough"). Shrewd business man I am I immediately traded one copy for 50 quid worth of records.
