Hi All

On sundays 'Soul People Show' on Solar, I played a track by Johnny Johnson & The Bandwagon - Where the feeling is real. On the show I said that I thought it was a LP track, a whole bunch of people emailed me to say they couldn't find it, so I searched myself and can't find any info on it.

Does any one know if this nice group stepper came out anywhere, does anyone have the Kent CD that came out a few years ago, is it on there.

The acetate I played it off as always gives few clues, it does have some sort of cat No, but I can't match that to anything.

Here is a link to the show, it's in the second hour, but will get it into Refro later also.

Cheers

Dave

Hi Dave -

This is definitely unissued.

We tried to get it and several other unissued bandwagon tracks for our compilation, but Sony 'couldn't substantiate ownership' of the unissued's and thus couldn't clear them.

Tantalisingly, two of the other unissued's that they also couldn't clear were 'Keep The Ball Rolling' and 'Working My Way Back To You'...

Hi Tony

Thanks for that, did you get to hear the other tracks, what do they sound like ?

I love this track, guessing it was from the earlier period, when they were all still together as a band.

Have you heard this one ?

Dave

Hi dave,

No, never heard any of the unissued tracks - including this one.

There are actually 8 unissued Epic Bandwagon tracks in all, spanning their entire time with the label. All of them look interesting to one degree or another except perhaps for 'Peace In The Valley'...

Cheers,

TONY
