Saw him at Glasto. Pretty disappointing to be honest. I expected something a bit tougher and bit less show-biz but apart from a pretty bizarre cover of the Velvet Underground's Femme Fatale it was all a bit boring. We went to the organic wine tent and then hit the made fiddle bands in the Green Fields for a bit.

Well i only caught him at Glastonbury via the TV (an acapella set and his live show) and what i saw was mightily impressive (imho)

Liked him too Steve. At first i thought he was the lead singer of Brooklyn Funk Essential...but he's not. (papa dee).

Each to their own of course, but I don't think he'll be giving Sharon Jones or our own Alice Russell a run for their money.

I wasn't trying to compare him to in terms of giving anyone a run for their money?

I enjoyed what I saw and thought he had strong impressive vocals.............that was good enough for me

Nowt wrong with a bit of 'show business' either imho!
