Hi all

I've bought a copy of Can't Stop Loving You by Robert John on Columbia demo and was wondering if anyone had any further info about the track. So far the only info I can find is from Eddy's Soul Time site (there is a soundbyte there by the way)So does anybody else out there have a copy or heard it played out anywhere??

Cheers

Richard

Hi Davie. re; the other 2 Robert John's being played. Other than 'Raindrops' what's the other? Quick Quiz anyone - Robert John had a 45 issued in the UK in 1958 under another name (a big US hit). - Who was he then?!

Great. I was hoping it was If You Don't Want My Love. I bought it as a newie in '67 and still listen to it regularly. Answer to Quiz. Robert John is/was Bobby Pedrick of White Bucks And Saddle Shoes (!) fame. Released on UK London in '58.

Good Call Davie,

I play it myself in Leeds. I get people asking what it is, and I take pleasure in telling them I paid $2.99 for it.

It does sound like a much dearer production.

Still, Quality is Quality.
