Richard Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 Hi all I've bought a copy of Can't Stop Loving You by Robert John on Columbia demo and was wondering if anyone had any further info about the track. So far the only info I can find is from Eddy's Soul Time site (there is a soundbyte there by the way)So does anybody else out there have a copy or heard it played out anywhere?? Cheers Richard

slimharpo Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Great. I was hoping it was If You Don't Want My Love. I bought it as a newie in '67 and still listen to it regularly. Answer to Quiz. Robert John is/was Bobby Pedrick of White Bucks And Saddle Shoes (!) fame. Released on UK London in '58.
Guest Jamie Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 yes it is "if you don't want my love " ...i dunno who plays but i do so i class that as getting plays lolol i like it though Davie Good Call Davie, I play it myself in Leeds. I get people asking what it is, and I take pleasure in telling them I paid $2.99 for it. It does sound like a much dearer production. Still, Quality is Quality. Jamie
