Guest Jahbuzzz Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Very easy - just mask off the part of the record you dont want then apply a drop shadow and hey presto! All you need is Photoshop or similar....
Rbman Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Very easy - just mask off the part of the record you dont want then apply a drop shadow and hey presto! All you need is Photoshop or similar.... Oh, of course...how silly of me not to remember.......and I mask off with what......that sticky tape from Halfords!
Guest Jahbuzzz Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Yes of course - Get photoshop, turn on your computer, scan in your record, then get your Halfords sticky tape and stick it on your computer screen... Simple!
Chalky Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Oh, of course...how silly of me not to remember.......and I mask off with what......that sticky tape from Halfords! you can cut the label out using the elliptical marquee tool.... basically right click and select the elliptical tool. Draw round your label, right click and select free transform, drag edges till matches label, Crop the label using copy and cut, open new and paste the cropped label, apply your drop shadow.
Guest chorleybloke Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Yeah basically its how Chalky described but I also delete the middle so the shadow shows there too. Programme I use is Corel but there are plenty more. Bit of a ballache but great results for flyers etc. Anyway bollocks to that, who wants to buy em?! Cheers Pete
Pete S Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 I've been trying to do this for 10 years, I've done it a few times but never been in enough control to manipulate the images to the correct sizes etc. Capacity for learning certainly gets less as you get older! (sorry Pete, will leave your thread alone now)
