NEV Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Hi all Just been playing through a few items to grade before sales and noticed the hiss on the OLIVER BUSH WDJ .....remember reading how most dj copies have this . Is this deffo the case with dj copies ?? The record looks pretty nice but before i list in sales i'd just like to get my facts straight opposed to bulls**ting I know from playing it out ,that it's never been a problem over a loud system but on my deck at home i can hear it
NEV Posted June 23, 2011 Author Posted June 23, 2011 Hi Nev, my w/d is the same, cheers Jim Thanks Jim..... Thought the general consensus was wdj 's have a background hiss and issues not so ..shame the issues are so hard to come by eh
Only Dreaming Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Hi Nev. My copy plays with hiss and so does my mate's one. This is probably due to a pressing fault as my copy looks mint. Good lunk with your sales, Dave
Gene-r Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 All demos, as far as known, play with a hiss and are generally low-fi. I think the story with the issues is that they play perfectly, but are extremely rare, although there are some around.
Guest Tom Walsh Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 THE WEST COAST COLOURED DEMO'S PLAY PERFECT BUT ALL THE W/D'S I HAVE HAD HAVE A BACKGROUND HISS. IT TOOK ME SOME TIME TO TRACK DOWN A WEST COAST COLOURED DEMO. PETE
