John Reed Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 (edited) Another one that was also included in the Kent CD Southern Soul Showcase: Cryin' In The Streets was: 151 - Gable Reed - I'm Your Man/Who's Been Warming My Oven Theres further Miranet releases such as: 200 - Big John Hamilton - Lift Me Up/Just Seeing You Again which are on Minaret with a different design and what looks to be a few years later than the other releases? Theres also no mention anything about Shelby Singleton or SSI which the other label variants have. Dave, Do you want these also? Maybe Big John Hamilton is the link between the SSI related releases and the later design? Edited June 23, 2011 by John Reed

Hi John, Now I've actually looked in R & B Indies, I need these numbers for the later series 201, 202, 203, and then if there are any others in the 4882, 4883 series, the 6156, and the 7603, 7611 series.
Nocker Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 How many are decent Northern soul tracks apart from the obvious? Cheers John

JOE TORQUAY Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 hi. anyone got a price for this, can't say i've seen many about, joe.
Guest Dave Turner Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 I know this tread is for the Minaret discog but thought this may be of interest. Finlay Duncan's Playground Studios when derelict. Look out for those Minaret's laying about. A few more of interest on the guy's page, such as --
mshoals Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 125 - Jay Chevalier - Jolie Blond / My Heart Went To My Head - 1967 There are 2 issues 125: 144 - ? 157 - Willie Gable - Row, Row, Row / ? 158 - Larry Shell - Maggie Brown / ?
