Craig W Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 A couple of weeks ago I noticed a US seller seemed to be selling a nice mixture of of his own 100 x 60s and early 70s pop 45s with a buy it now price of $68.00 for some strange reason. I contacted him with the ask buyer question and asked if he had any soul 45s to which he replied yes use the buy it now and I will swap what is on there for entirely soul 45s , which I did which came to just over $100.00 with shipping. They arrived today and while there appears to be nothing I dont know apart from maybe Frankie Beverly's Raw Soul - While I'm alone on Gregar which is growing on me the more I hear it , what struck me was every one was in mint unplayed condition in the original company sleeve some of them picture sleeves. Nothing rare but all in time warp condition with that lovely unplayed smell which was worth the price alone. Buying job lots off Ebay seems to be hit or miss but what have you scored or lost big time on , on the whole I cant complain .
Guest Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 erm I bought a job lot of ebay a few years ago, was local cost me £21 and picked them up myself.......... sadly all shite LOL Well done you though x

Mike Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 last thing wanna do is step in, move posts and all that no problems with one liners and all that its just a question of balance
Larsc Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Bought a lot of 100 unplayed 45s for $80 incl. shipping once. Only some cheapies to keep (j.r. bailey on calla, act 1, bee bee butler on smc and so on..). This was a surprise package as seller only mentioned 10 artists in description. If I had the chance I'd do it again.
