boba Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Sad news that Rudy Negron, lead singer of the Mystics on Teako died this week. He sang lead on "That's the kind of love", one of the greatest sweet soul records to come out of Chicago.
Guest sigher the gutter snype Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 hi bob, i know you no a lot more than i do about chicago soul, i chatted to rudy negron jr way back in 2006 and im sure he said his father passed away shortly after or maybe about 2007?? i could be wrong, i do have our conversations somewhere??

I interviewed Rudy on the radio 11/2007. I talked to him a couple months ago.
