Soulman Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 With regard to the topic in "wants" section. According to feed back, it seems the green issue I have could be quite rare. Photos are attached (scanner not available at moment). This was bought from John Anderson at Soul Bowl in the late 70's. Check wants for full Delta details. I've always had it down as original. Dave Flynn says he's never seen one which had me wondering, hence the transfer to this section. Your thoughts are welcomed. Could this be another enigma from my box along the lines of the Charles Brandy issue on Blue Cat, the first issue stock of Frankie Karl.... Let me know Steve

Soulman Posted June 2, 2011 Author Posted June 2, 2011 As a matter of interest, what's the bootleg look like ???.... oh and yes, I'm genuinely looking at selling this copy for those that asked
Modernsoulsucks Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CHIP-TYLER-IF-YOU-ASK-ME-CHICORY-/300543640532?pt=UK_Records&hash=item45f9cc03d4 See above. Always thought this record to be difficult to find but it doesn't seem to be held in high regard so value doesn't equate to rarity IMO. Pretty sure I had an issue too back in the 90's which I sold, but I kept the demo. ROD

ROD Thanks Rod, Had Jerry's version numerous times over the years but always hung on to this as I thought it slightly better in some ways. I understand what you are saying in some respects but if the issue is so much rarer and hasn't been seen by many how can it be priced. Its a bit like a Charles Brandy issue I had. Nobody thought it existed and because of that the price went sky high (in excess of £4000). Best Steve
Soulman Posted June 4, 2011 Author Posted June 4, 2011 As a matter of interest does anyone know anything about Chip Tyler?
