Guest Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Is this ever played out? I know I haven't heard it. Anyone else excited by it?
Guest Dan Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 awesome detroit, got a few plays in the 80s absolute monster record, got everything, not rare enough for the big jocks ever to have got behind it but as good as any £1000 sound IMO also pressed unusually loud
Mace Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Great record - quite well known and about £30 - £40 I have played it out a few times myself, but don't hear it being spun that much. Regards Mace.
Guest Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 (edited) A few plays in the 80's? Is that it LOL. What a shame and what a waste of a full floor!! ... you big jocks, reading this... who cares if it's not rare... get it spinning It seems to be one of those 100 mile per hour sounding tracks, but when you dance to it, it's relatively slow paced really ... Shane It's that initial tennor vocal trailing into that high pitched squeal of Gypsy Woman that gets me... brilliant vocal arrangement - including the flimsy harmonies.. it just all fits together

Guest Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Cheers Andy... I think internet threads like this might convey the publics passions about certain plays, so hopefully the jocks will take note and delve a little bit deeper or perhaps a little bit more to the left for the playlist they deliver next time

Mace Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 hahhahaaaa.. did I buy that? Think Rob Sawetz from Newbury had it off me, so unless you've had a sex change lately I feel confident in saying no... You've sold yours, Manship still has his; there's the diffrence. Andy Manship can afford to keep it till he gets £75. That's the difference....
Guest Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Think Rob Sawetz from Newbury had it off me, so unless you've had a sex change lately I feel confident in saying no... some might argue that I'm manly
Mace Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 some might argue that I'm manly ...and some might argue that Rob Sawetz is a big girls blouse, but I'm still confident

Billy Freemantle Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 That has to be the best record I've heard in a long time. Firrst hearing for me of that one. Have enjoyed several other FP sounds for some time. Those Fabulous Peps were certainly versatile.
