May have been test pressings but don't know of any demos, and they'd be stickered anyway I should think. I remember my friend Paul getting a copy of Richard Searling a couple of weeks before it came out but don't remember it being a demo.

Never seen any with demo labels, but I've got a copy of THIS IS NORTHERN SOUL (GRAL 1002) which has demonstration not for sale printed in the top left hand corner of the rear side of the sleeve. I used to have TALK OF THE GRAPEVINE (GRAL 1000) with a plain white label with the cat. no. GRAL 1000 hand written on.
