May 22, 201114 yr it is not the same guy. This bobby robinson is from evanston and was a member of the gems on drexel. He is still alive and living in georgia. The new york guy (more famous producer) passed away recently.
May 22, 201114 yr evanston is a suburb directly north of chicago btw. northwestern university is there.
May 22, 201114 yr Isn't the Dee Dee label west coast eg. Natural Resources "Nothing Lasts Forever" or the Dee Dee subsidiary of Boss? I think I answered my question, or did I?....

I think I answered my question, or did I?.... that is a different dee dee label (the la label with the natural resources). It had no connection to a Boss label. There is a chicago dee dee label, that one is the same label as Boss.

May 22, 201114 yr the chicago label was co-owned (always two owners) at different times by three people: Bobby Robinson, Ric Williams, and Don Clay. Edited May 22, 201114 yr by boba
