Guest in town Mikey Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Is the Bobby Robinson of Dee Dee records, the same Bobby Robinson, that the lable the Carlettes - Lost Without Your Love is released on? I cant find any info on the Carlettes. Unless it is these guys???

boba Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 it is not the same guy. This bobby robinson is from evanston and was a member of the gems on drexel. He is still alive and living in georgia. The new york guy (more famous producer) passed away recently.

I think I answered my question, or did I?.... that is a different dee dee label (the la label with the natural resources). It had no connection to a Boss label. There is a chicago dee dee label, that one is the same label as Boss.
