Nick Soule Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 So I was reading Keith Rylatt's book, and noticed the info for The Tomangoe's lists the group as Dusty Wilson on vocals with the Bob Seger band as the backing musicians. Is this correct? Maybe that's common knowledge(?), but I've been under the impression for years that it was Geno Washington singing on the record... Also, I've been assuming they took the name from the movie "Tamango." Anyone know differently? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0051049/ Thanks in advance, Nick Soule
Ian Parker Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 fascinating stuff regarding Bob Seger & band. i just read Segers' history/discography, a fine career indeed

Louise Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Sure is Nick Tried to persuade both Gino and Dusty to come over for Prestatyn a few years back to do their individual cuts and then as a finale both of them perform "I Really Love You", sadly for one reason or another just couldn't get it all together.
