Anything over £3 is a bit expensive to be honest - I usually charge £2.20 (mailer, 3 bits of card). If it's signed for, then it's £7 or so now.

But you are cheap !

What to the USA Pete ? how come i have to pay $12.65 USA to here ?

You must be running at a loss then, Pete - I gave Kenny a quote last night, based on what the Post Office had charged me - an hour or so earlier - to post one normal 45 to the States, in a card sleeve inside a regular 'Wilton Packaging' type mailer and between two pieces of cardboard, sent 'small packet'...

It was £2.90 on the nose...

Must have gone up then - never cost me more than £2.50 - and with respect, I probably send out more records per week than you do Tone. £2.40 to Australia, USA isn't going to be more than that.

Off topic but Branstons baked beans are easily the best at the moment, ever since Heinz changed their recipe a few years ago.

....You send out more records a week than I do in a month mate,, but £2.90 is what the lady in the Post Office charged me, about this time yesterday, for one single in a Wilton mailer between two not particualrly heavy pieces of cardboard. The weight was around 155g and I'm not making this up, honest!

"Can provide proof of postage" as they say...

I guess it depends on the weight of the cardboard inserts then?
