Liljimmycrank Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Been given a box of tunes to sell for someone, and come across a couple I was unsure on price, and one whether it was a boot or not. Don't have a manship price guide so was hoping you lot could help please? The one I'm unsure if it's a boot is Fidels - Try a little harder, Vee-Jay blue label. I do have manships small boot label book thing and it says is that this could be a legal issue? Any ideas?? If legit/orig, what's the going rate please? Prices also on these please..... Fidels - Try a little harder, Jay Boy Young Hearts - Little togetherness, Minit Bob Kuban - The cheater, Musicland Cheers Azza

Actually Bob Kuban more like a fiver, was a chart hit in the States.
Liljimmycrank Posted May 7, 2011 Author Posted May 7, 2011 Cheers Pete, genuinely dint have a clue what they were worth. Funny that you're the first to reply as the jay boy one has a small printed stamp on the label by the words 'pete smith' anyone know about the othe fidels version, boot or not? And value (or is that a tenner too?)
Prophonics 2029 Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 I have a Bob K on orange paper label and the blue ink one.

When it c\me out it was thought to be a boot as the instrumental version was previously unreleased, but then the same coupling came out on UK DJM so maybe it was legit...
Gene-r Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 I have a Bob K on orange paper label and the blue ink one. Isn't the orange one a boot? It has a very poor early fade-out from what I can remember, and is on styrene (mind you, so is the legit blue issue, but the orange really does look like a boot).
Liljimmycrank Posted May 9, 2011 Author Posted May 9, 2011 According to the bootleg guide, orange is a boot. The one passed to me to sell is blue label
