Jonathon is definitely on here, sorry can't remember his user name.

I remember Lewie, he was there every week, very thin guy, friendly with Keith Minshull.

I remember Lewi very well. I used to send him gear back in the day and he got nicked and grassed me up. I can still remember his old address. But he was a good lad though!

I believe he sold up around 78/79 but he kept one record, Eddie Parker "I'm Gone".

Boy could he haggle I'm sure his dad must have been an Asian market trader!! I remember at Yate spending about four hours behind the decks trying to get Cheryl Anne off him.

Jonathon can be found here on Facebook.

Used to enjoy his sets at Notts Palais all those years ago and was a regular at the Monday night sessions downstairs in the Bali Hai. Top DJ but haven't seen or spoken to him for far too many years now.

Jon is still active and plays a Mecca/Cleethorpes spot at the Skegness Weekender on a regular basis.

Used to meet Lewi in the Paton arms Warrington in the early days before we got a car to go up in, was a great lad & way ahead of his time i reckon, after he got banned/binned it he moved to London so i was told and was supposed to be in several pop videos of the day.

About 8 years ago i bought a Dana Valery WDJ off Kev Cox & it had "Lewi from Runcorn" scratched in the run out !!!

I was also on your mail list back then Dave lol, my folks thought you was all thick down south as you kept sending me padded birthday cards each week laugh.giflaugh.gif

Was with Jonathan chewing the fat for around an hour in the early hours of Sunday morning last weekend at the Southport (Minehead) Weekender. He's fine, now moved further north and is a dad..........he is also of course father to a rather large record collection which he has just re-housed at the new location!!:pirate:

You can always guarantee on catching up with him at Southport as he is stage manager for the Powerhouse room there.

I used to be a regular in arcade records early 90s and remember johnathon very active with US garage sets around that time.

It was only much later I learnt of his earlier activities and that he had owned the infamous frank wilson.
