Dec 09 - he requested Prince Ellis - Im gonna love you on Ellis

I had an Ex copy so I offered and he offered me 20 quid which I laughed off but negotiated to swap a record on his site he had listed for 50 quid. He now has a Prince Ellis up for 250 quid - Im sure some dealers are on something when they think up these prices like this.

I've asked the question a couple of times in the backroom cause general "how much" posts were made and each time been told yep wrong section, forum is for complaints and feedback.

I sell quite a few items via soul source , and it's not always simple pricing some of the records up. Any i'm unsure off are searched for on Popsike , JM's Priceguide , Gemm & Music Stack for availability & past performance etc. and a figure then attached that i feel is fair. JM's guide is just that , an excellent ,invaluable book , but never the less , a guide , some are overvalued , some right & the rest are cheap. I have at least 3 records by Prince Ellis , 2 of them are booked @ £15 each , i personally think that's way too cheap , non of them appear to be common. As for Pete & Pauls valuations of £15 & f**k all for Len Jewell , on Teri-De's 2nd issue , they again appear to be bargains , imho. I did look this one up recently and 5 copies had gone on popsike @ £31 to £45 & JM's guide is £75 , i pitched it between the lot @ £50 and it sold. It doesn't seem to be about in the numbers it used to be & not everybody , me included can afford a Fontana copy , never mind a 1st Issue Ter-De. Just "label" me another rob-dog , but buyers and sellers always have their own opinions ( that's what makes the whole thing so fascinating ) , mine is no better or no less than anyone elses.
