Soul-Brother Posted April 21, 2011 Author Posted April 21, 2011 (edited) Thanks Mel.. The Cyndi inclusion received mixed comments...mostly positive though.... Regards Barry Edited April 21, 2011 by Soul-Brother
Guest Dave Turner Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Another excellent show Barry. Nice to be reminded of,and great to hear again, Jr Walker's "Me and My Family". Haven't checked the playlists but a suggestion for your consideration for a future show would be another great track from his Moody Junior album -- "Way Back Home (Vocal)" When I saw the Cyndi Lauper track listed I thought to myself "he's lost the plot" but pleased to say I was very pleasantly surprised indeed.
Soul-Brother Posted April 21, 2011 Author Posted April 21, 2011 Hi Dave.. LOST THE PLOT!!!! Never.... Doris Day on the next show if you don't watch it! I love Jr. Walker material...he was a better singer than most remember... Played Way Back Home a long time ago...so maybe noone will notice if I slip it in again Regards Barry
