Ernie Andrews Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 if you are a member of this site - Dont you think a common courtesy would be to advertise your records here before you load them onto ebay.? Just athought and you can shoot me down but I thought this site was for like minded people!
Pete S Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Why? They want to get as much money as possible for them. I always put mine on here and actually hardly ever put any soul records on ebay, prefer to sell them set sale.

Craig W Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Heres my advice. Try them on Ebay first , if they dont sell try them on here , if they dont sell take them on the car boot sale , if they dont sell on there give them Pete Smith to take to the tip the next time he goes to work there.

Guest Stuart T Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 OMG i thought the Chiffons were yanks not jocks where are the bagpipe bits i will have to listen to a soundbyte Bagpipes are not exclusively Scottish, although most countries had the sense to give them up a long time ago. You may have heard of Rufus Harley the black bagpipe playing US jazz musician. Or maybe not, what a nutter, he even wore a kilt. I'm a bit worried about Gene selling up before he does his set on Saturday.

I'm a bit worried about Gene selling up before he does his set on Saturday. was in Edinboro a few months ago and there was a few buskers, 1 was playing the BPs and was wearing all the regalia so i took a pic of him with the wife gave him the obligitory quid and he replied "well thank ya sir" in a right southern drawl. I asked him where he was from he replied "New Orleans Sir"
Gene-r Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 I'm a bit worried about Gene selling up before he does his set on Saturday. No need to worry Stu - the Mary Millington and Harry Secombe bits haven't sold, so will be sure to bring them along!
