Hi Roddy, Have had this album myself a few times it's stuff recorded for his Bronco label as far as i can work out no direct link to Scepter/Wand Derek
Steve G Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 (edited) Hi Roddy, I do have the album. "Come on in love" is the best dancer. In it's original acetate form it's actually excellent and worthy of spins. Darn it if they went and drowned out the percussion with strings on this album version .....from a time when Bazza was a poor struggling musician.....! "All in the run of a day" also got a UK release on President. Edited April 6, 2011 by Steve G
pikeys dog Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Nationally Distributed by Springboard International Springboard was a 1970s reissue label... they released LPs by artists such as Sly Stone (Autumn period), Barry White etc from "before they were famous" to cash in on their current chart success. Theres quite a few of these cash-ins on other labels as well - United (loads of Kent [60s] lps), Hallmark (Chi-Lites/Hi-Lites early releases), Post (Jerry Butler early solo stuff) etc.

Only Dreaming Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 "Fragile Handle With Care" bears no relation to the Sam Dees tune. and Dave

Markw Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 "All in the run of a day" also got a UK release on President. The US release was on Bronco - '67 or '68 I believe and I believe prompted the UK President release. Is this 1974 album version different from the 60s releases?
Guest rosies dad Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 yes it is not the same version as the bronco 45. i actually prefer the album version myself.
Dave Pinch Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 come on in love was also done by jay dee on his warner bros lp from 1974 also produced by barry dave
