Mace Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Does anybody know anything (label, rough price) for Frank Cherval "How Come" ? Thankyou Becky Nige Shaw (Heavenly Blocked) had one of these in his sales box a while back, but can't remember label. He may not want to admit to it though.... Think he bought it off Keith Williams if I remember correctly, so either may know more info.

It could be worse...it could have been in his collection or even worse in his playbox at least it was in the right box He's done stuff on 20th Century and Laurie but can't remember what this is on.

Mace Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Thanks, I'll have to pesker Nige next time I see him He tried to sell it to me as a definate 'black version' (there was no player to hand)...but it went flying back in his direction when I got it home... (and that's something coming from me) Another 'Popcorn' skeleton from Nige's murky past... Full list of Nige's other dodgy vinyl moments will be on sale for £9.99 in the very near future... It could be worse...it could have been in his collection or even worse in his playbox at least it was in the right box He's done stuff on 20th Century and Laurie but can't remember what this is on. Let's put it this way...he didn't buy it off Keith Williams to sell on straight away.... Pretty sure it was on a major label like Liberty or Imperial?????
Mace Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 It's not my fault Karen's turning me Thanks Got to add it is a pretty bad version IMO, and I have 'wide horizons'..... Birdie Green is the best one to get...even better if you get the one with 'Tremble' on flip. Tony Williams is nice too.
Gene-r Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Frankie Cherval "How Come/Tag Along" was released in the UK on MGM (MGM 1183) in 1962, so I assume the US copy is on MGM or Cub as well.

Pete S Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Yeah it was both UK and US MGM - same song as Tony Williams

Mace Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Listen to Mace, if he says it's bad...then it must be bad :graynone: Actually it is bad....and following on from another thread, regardless of U.K. / U.S / issues or promos it's one I will not be purchasing. Actually saw on on ebay a while back for about $10 and didn't even bother buying it to sell on as I do have certain limits...
