marie knight was on musicor, definatly no release on columbia

I'd imagine that it's a Canadian release, as I've got a Canadian Columbia release of Tommy Hunt - The Biggest Man b/w Never Love A Robin. :sleep3:

Just a quickie whilst we're on this label,

Did Aretha's "Wont Be Long" make it to a 45, or is it LP only????

Thanks

Tony

Not 100% on this but i used to play a 7" version of this on a Columbia Jukebox single.

It's approx ten+ years since i last had played it out, but unless Erma did a version, then I'm pretty sure it's out there.

When I get the chance i'll stick my head up in the loft and find it out to confirm.

Here's a couple more...

The first is one that always reminds me of when I was younger and attended scooter runs in the 80's. The second is an alltime fav of mine.

ronnie dyson - lady in red - columbia

bobby womack - home is where the heart is - soul-tbc

Thanks for that info

Just started collecting after 30 years away so expect to get my hands burned a few times, looks like i might be ok with this one though.
