crikey that dynamite singletary is cheap I would have paid more than that.

don't look at Johns auctions anymore as they always used to fetch realy high prices but is the tide startign to turn ?

I think it is generally, the mega rare things and 'big oldies' notwithstanding maybe. That said, Freddie Williams ... ... wtf :thumbsup::D

Obviously, they'll all only do what someone is prepared to give for em in the end, not really down to John in that respect. He does erm 'wax lyrical' though and some of his write-ups are genius. Tragically, I still enjoy and sometimes chuckle at the descriptions you see on lists and websites. Barry Wad remains the master IMHO and his list is always the most descriptive: dreamy, pounding, floaty, mid-uptempo, floor-packing, girlie, upbeat etc ... ... brilliant!

On the flipside, that Rivingtons @ 111 quid is ridiculous. I had one in my sales box for the best part of a year @$50 with no takers.....I think I floated it on eBay eventually and it sold for $9.99.
