Dylan Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 crikey that dynamite singletary is cheap I would have paid more than that. don't look at Johns auctions anymore as they always used to fetch realy high prices but is the tide startign to turn ?

I think it is generally, the mega rare things and 'big oldies' notwithstanding maybe. That said, Freddie Williams ... ... wtf
Ted Massey Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 I think it is generally, the mega rare things and 'big oldies' notwithstanding maybe. That said, Freddie Williams ... ... wtf John's a good saleman, always reminds me of a machinery auctioner Joe Issacs he always said never seen a better one
Philt Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Obviously, they'll all only do what someone is prepared to give for em in the end, not really down to John in that respect. He does erm 'wax lyrical' though and some of his write-ups are genius. Tragically, I still enjoy and sometimes chuckle at the descriptions you see on lists and websites. Barry Wad remains the master IMHO and his list is always the most descriptive: dreamy, pounding, floaty, mid-uptempo, floor-packing, girlie, upbeat etc ... ... brilliant!
Ritchieandrew Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Regarding the Major Lance live @ the Torch flyer.....................................I have another one for sale. P.M. me if you are interested. regards, Ricardo.
Jim G Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Sh' Mon - Part 1 & 2 Mr. Dynamite Last one on JM a few months ago went for over £500 !
Greg Belson Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 On the flipside, that Rivingtons @ 111 quid is ridiculous. I had one in my sales box for the best part of a year @$50 with no takers.....I think I floated it on eBay eventually and it sold for $9.99.
