Steve G Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 It was a classic case of "booted too soon" - played for 2 weeks at the Casino, then the boots appeared, then dropped like a hot potato. Never had it's day, I believe the work of Soussan and some of his puppet DJs. It's a great record, and yes the Wilshire version is a great version and really hard to find, as well as being a different mix.

Guest peter burke Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Also a white boot as bought as a boot from Rod Dearlove a few years back. Love the Wilshire "stripped down" version, think Sam played it at one of the Bamberg Sunday chill out sessions 3 years back. Pete
Steve G Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Hi Pete the delta number will confirm if you have an original or a bootleg as above. Brother Dearglove despite his wealth of knowledge has been known to get these things wrong occasionally.......Ha ha!
Guest peter burke Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Sorry Steve Brother Dearglove was bang on as usual as it was a red label, my mistake. Good job I suppose as I sold it on to a friend. Value wise as the red label boot is pretty scarce I think I paid £25 and sold on for £40. Pete
