Guest Andy Kempster Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 whats the going rate for a nice clean one of these?
Garethx Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Should be possible to get a mint copy with "You Boy" on the flip for about fifteen-twenty quid. That's Mid-Town 271. Mid-Town 270, with "It Shouldn't Happen To A Dog" on the reverse is a bit harder to come by and sells for upwards of £80 these days. Three tremendous sides and both essential 45s I reckon.
Guest Andy Kempster Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 cheers gareth, totally agree, fantastic little record
Jnixon Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 (edited) youll probably be able to pick up a copy of the big tree issue for a fiver if you are not a fussy lad. same flip as midtown 271 - holding on Edited March 30, 2011 by JNixon
Liljimmycrank Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Are both the Mid-town issues legit? What's the story with different flips? Azza
NEV Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Are both the Mid-town issues legit? What's the story with different flips? Azza Hi Azza Gareth's post more or less tells the story of which came 1st ,but yes..both legit presses. As to why ......not a clue!
KevH Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 "Dog" was on the radar for quite a few a while back, but "Holdin On" is a fantastic tune in its own right.Peaked at around 100 quid, sold mine for less than that about a year ago. Kev.
