dthedrug Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Hi All I would like to help you But!!, Like most people and for reasons that have concerned me, just for there exclusion, why is there no Price Guide for 12" & 10" records & dub plates, I have often wondered what I have left in the fields of ENGLAND as I have driven away from Car Boot Sales over the last 20 or so years, even straight foreword values would help? For example:- Skip Mahony - Janice - Underworld 12 UNDY 1a, is in my opinion the best and rarest version, yet it's never mentioned? yet the shorter 45 7" is, as is the us Sal Sol 7" copy and the 12" sometimes gets a plug, However not only do you get a short version it seems that the 7" copy is valued at least twice the price of the 12" now I am lucky to have both, and always play the full version, so why is the 7" copy worth more??? I hope you get a answer on you valuation, as for the 12" Janice it's worth about £30, if you are daft enough to follow the rare soul rules on how to value rare records, for many years before crossover & modern Soul, my point was aimed at rare LP's and to this day they are still looked down on, apart from SKA & REGGAE DAVE KIL
