Broadcast this afternoon but is still available on BBC iPlayer Johnnie Walker revives the decade of sequins, strikes and Saturday Night Fever. This week Millie Jackson shares her memories in My 70s. In this decade, the sassy soul and R&B singer was recognised for her early rap style and had hits with Ask Me What You Want, It Hurts So Good and If You're Not Back In Love By Monday. She recalls the fashion, her part in the blaxpoliotation explosion on the soundtrack to 1973's Cleopatra Jones and her love of Marvin Gaye. We also mark the 40th anniversary of the "Fight of the Decade" between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier at Madison Square Gardens in Radio Rewind. And We hear from "The Greatest" about his Boxing vocation in a 1977 interview for the BBC. And our featured album is Al Stewart's 1975 masterpiece, The Year of the Cat, which was produced by Alan Parsons and saw him move from cult status as a member of the 60s and 70s folk revival to worldwide commercial success.
