I`ll cut to the chase...I need a clip of the Jacksons doing "Blame it on the boogie" (I know!) for something we are doing at work. All the clips I can find are on youtube..I cant copy youtube clips onto a CD that can be played in a normal DVD player...or can I? If so...please tell me how...

Failing that does anyone know where i can get a clip of this on DVD?

Hope thats clear!

Cheers, Chris

You can copy the audio from the youtube clip, convert it into an mp3, and burn that onto a cd to play in your dvd player!

Chris, I've created an MP3 of it for you. Pm me your e-mail address and I send it you as an attachment.

Or do you need the actual video clip?

1. You'll need to get the video file off Youtube, there's load of add-on for most browsers that will 'download' it for you. The file will probably be in the .FLV format

2. Get the downloaded file into a format you can burn a DVD from, which most likely means converting the 'jackson5.FLV' file to a widows video .wmv file, or .mpg format file.

3. Burn it to a DVD, or maybe just a video CD which should play on most DVD players now

Dave,

I need the video of it too mate.,..really appreciate your efforts.

Is it easy to do? sounds bloody complivcated to me....!

Thanks for all replies guys,....

Chris

No problem mate. Never done the video capture thing but i suppose it's like anything else, sounds complicated but easy once you've done it a couple of times.

So many programs out there for doing it I think it's more a case of which one is reliable and trustworthy to use.

Fcuk me, you saying I had to endure 3 mins of "Boogie" for nowt. Never mind, my missus 'll like it

There must be other ways that are easier but when I struggled with something similar I used a free down load called CamStudio that can record anything that is on your screen. This can be all the screen or just a section and then can be saved in various formats. I then burned the results to a dvd. The quality wasn't great but maybe that was the file format I used or maybe that I was showing it on a 18ft screen
