NEV Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Hi Lee Jerry Plunk is very nice indeed as is Joey kingfish , but IMHO its a shame you went to the trouble with the Willie Jones .....Carla Thomas lp verson is far better Good work all the same fellas This is what its all about ...not re-issuing tunes that have been played to death and already been re-issued before
Bigsoulman Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Agree with Nev, bought two out of the three this morning, the Jerry Plunk track is awesome Lenny
Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Jerry Plunk - wow! Made my Friday...

Alan T Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 The Jerry Plunk track came out on a Solid Hitbound CD maybe ten years ago as Eddie Anderson. I also have an mp3 of it credited to Joey Kingfish. Just downloaded the mp3 on here and don't see any difference in the 3 of them. Was it once an un-credited acetate that they now know who it actually is ?.

Not impressed with that Willie Jones version of 'I Play For Keeps' - and it sounds dreadful. Paul
