A French collector friend told me the release of an album was planned in France in the mid-60's but was cancelled.

He apparently got the information from Gilles Petard (French Tamla Motown promoter in the 70's)

Perhaps tapes or test pressing exists, I'll ask to Gilles more informations about it next time I see him.
