Guest Ollie Lailey Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 (edited) Been playing this morning. One of the best mixes on mixcloud at the mo'. That "Aint No Big Thang Do" is something else. Amazing, did it get released or is this one of/ acetate type job? Edited February 24, 2011 by Ollie Lailey
Guest sigher the gutter snype Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 (edited) Thanks for listening oli, my first follower!!....will be checking yours as well,. just got in from work and not had a listen as yet, but seen playlists and know we are singing from the same hymn sheet... "aint no big thang do" did get released, didnt have any artists name on it, but just the writers aka shaic and william peterkin. it got produced by jose ponce, the story goes that jose had $500 bucks so they made him producer and label owner, and they went into the studio and recorded two sides, the other "swave villi us" i played at the end of the show. it came out on dove song records alberquerque new mexico alas doesnt seem to be any copys floating around though, on a budget of $500 cant think they had a lot left for promotion etc.... thanks again for the nice words mate, looking forward to putting up another show on tuesday.. have fun russ Edited February 24, 2011 by sigher the gutter snype
