45cellar
Never seen an Ann D'andrea demo. I bought it from John Manship site a couple of years ago. Link to comment Social source share
Anoraks Corner
Shame the 1st press of Ann D'Andrea doesn't feature the instrumental only found on the reissue. That backing track rocks! Link to comment Social source share
Anoraks Corner
Here's one that I'm surprised hasn't received more scene spins given the Funky edge feel to it, well in vogue nowadays! Plus it has a heavy bassline and wailing harmonica...gritty...love it! Looking at the credits MAC and Ed Thomas leads me to think that this could possibly be Dorothy Moore (aka Cambridge)? Anoraks Corner
I once had the pleasure of listening to some tapes of Jamie/Guyden recordings...lots of alternate takes/mixes etc. There was also one uptempo Motown-ish instrumental that I could never pin point down...maybe unissued was the comment. Then, many years later I found myself in a little shop in deepest Tokyo and I played an oddball Jamie label 45 from an artist I'd never come across...and lo and behold it was the very same instrumental! I'll try and load a soundfile later this week, time permitting...feel free to guess what it may be...very obscure!! Link to comment Social source share
