Here is the reason: I won't be there, nor will my mates.Find someone else to do it.I suggest that if you want to run a Torch reunion you have Torch DJ's and people who play Torch sounds.Having Dave Evison as last spot?HA HA HA HA HA HA .You are insulting us all. he never event went there, or if he did no one remembers.WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU PICK HIM FOR PRIME SPOT ABOVE EVERYONE ELSE WHO WENT OR DJ'D THERE?Why isn't it ALAN DAY, OR KEITH MINSHULL OR TONY JEBB OR EVEN ME?There's money involved isn't there?Charity........HA HA HA HA Evison plays LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL at the height of the do. WHAT? Why isn't he playing DARKEST DAYS or YOU OUGHT TO BE IN HEAVEN.? Shall I tell you why?Because he doesn't even know those records were played there, OR if he does, he is never going to fork out the money it will cost to get them, when he can just earn a fantastic wage for playing the same old crap week after week.Put this on Soul Source, if you like, but I'll do it first.

Dave Evison one of the nicest blokes you could hope to meet ive known him since 72 and believe me i saw Dave down at the Torch regularly also at Blackpools Highland Room ect ect ect.. With regards to Charity the lads who have run the Torch Reunion for the past few years have done ONE HELL OF A JOB providing funds for local charitys Malc, Paul Jez deserve the upmost RESPECT for the time and effort they have put in in helping others less fortunate than most of us..Dave Evison is a good bloke who has more than paid his dues on the Northern scene and deserves Respect not the ramblings of you Swish who seems to have either had zillion pints or worse RESPECT WHERE RESPECTS DUE.MY FRIEND..
