Chubby & Turnpikes = Tavares

Daryl Hall - member of Temptones

the trammps......volcanos

Volcanos = Moods = Bummy & The Bums = Trammps

(From what I can remember, The name Bummy & Bums was never used, just a viable option, before deciding on Trammps instead)

Cheers

Think you'll find your theory incorrect.

Didn't the Velours become The Fantastics??

Tony

Sure did. Don Haywoode from the Velours actually lived in Leeds when the Fantastics got established in the UK and he confirmed the connection. I used to go out with his daughter Emma so I'd see him quite often........

...and the Fantastics 45 of "Baby make your own sweet music" actually says "Produced by The Velours"! (on the Mojo reissue at least...)
