Ian Dewhirst Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Christy Allen on Diamond defo was what about Verdelle Smith on Capitol Two Of Clubs on Fraternity? Ady Only Christy Allen to my knowledge. Another one of those boots which came out too early as the record hadn't properly broken at the time. Ian D
Citizen P Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 You telling me tat copy had all those years back was real??/ B*gger Tony
Gene-r Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 I would agree - I don't ever recall seeing Verdelle Smith or the 2 of Clubs versions on any form of reissue. Val Doonican's version, however, has been reissued countless times over the past 47 years!
Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 ...Unlike the original by Faron Young, which hardly ever crops up...
Guest Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 hope this is of some use Ady. This was bought many years ago and was told it was orig. Deadwax is scratched at 4 o'clock with: 45-26203-F-1 There is also a number 2 at 6 o'clock ... the number 2 is sideways on
Tony Smith Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Also re-titled and performed in the UK by The Marionettes on Parlophone as "Like A Man"
Wiggyflat Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I'm sure the New Faces did this on Pye or Picadilly as well
