Guest Brian Ellis Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 thanks everyone I've had both at the same time (but since sold my Tamla version) and, sorry if this cuts across what the others above have said, but I always thought there was a slight difference. Hard to put a finger on it, but thought the Colossus version was a much richer' and fuller sounding recording. I understand Colossus was the original reecording. Maybe it was because of a different quality in the vinyl between the two, or perhaps something in the way the track was transferred between the two labels or maybe just one was put onto the vinyl slightly more loudly, or with a bit more bass etc?
