Tracked one of these LP's down Gladys Knight on Maxx, nice condition but is a £150.00 a bit strong on this, would thought about half that price?????? hard to find LP and one that I've been looking for, of course if anyone has a spare copy this side of the pond then please get in touch.

Regards - Mark Bicknell.

The last copy on evil bay went for £29.00 a few weeks ago , I would of said £ 50.00 max in the current climate :)

If you're just after " Stop and get a hold of myself " buy the Tastiest Hits Lp from 68 on Bell , cheap as chips

Not true - there are more tracks on the UK (and possibly the US, but don't quote me on that) version of 'Tastiest Hits' than there were on the Maxx LP, including a couple that were previously unreleased at the time.

Where is anyone getting the idea that 'Tastiest Hits' is 'cheap as chips', BTW?

The "Tastiest Hits" album took selections from the Maxx album and from one on Sphere Sound. Track listing is as follows :

Side One- "Letter Full Of Tears", "Either Way I Lose", "If I Should Ever Fall In Love", "Daybreak", "Maybe, Maybe Baby", "Every Beat Of My Heart".

Side Two- "Giving Up", "Stop And Get A Hold Of Myself", "Lovers Always Forgive", "Tell Her You're Mine" and "Operator".

...and at risk of repeating myself, the UK version on Bell has more tracks than that, including a couple that were not previously issued and that only ever appeared on the UK TH album until the CD era...

We're talking US releases aren't we?

I have the US Bell one and I recall that I was offered a Maxx copy but couldn't be bothered to buy it as the track listing was identical. Anyway, that's how I remember it. If I'm wrong, so what.

I had the Bell one twice, sold both for around £30, think the kak cover and title puts folks off but quality Lp indeed. Maxx cover much tastier!!

Same track listing as the US Bell LP.
