A friend of mine, Jeb Loy Nichols (some of you might know his Country got Soul comp cds) just got in touch with the the following request, I'm too lazy to rephrase it so I'm posting the whole email. Anybody got a clue what he's on about !!

hey fella - ben, the boys and I are thinking of doing another day recording as we all think we need some more uptempo songs - one of the songs we're thinking about doing is one of the George Jackson demos I found in Nashville - the song is called either What We Going To Do or Ain't It Funny (What Love Can Do) - but I can't find out if its ever been recorded - either by George Jackson or by someone else - I was wondering if you could post the lyrics on one of your soul chatroom sites and see if anyone recognises them... the lyrics of the chorus are: Ain't it funny what love can do you're hung up on him and I'm hung up on you what we gonna do what we gonna do? no rush - and thanks a million - jeb

Thanks Bob, but just checked with him and it's not that one.
