Hi Steve

There is (was??) a decent second hand record shop in Amsterdam a few years ago. Don't know if it's still there but it's worth a try. I don't know the street but if you find the music venue called The Melkweg (big place in the centre), walk to the big main road behind it, cross that road.... the shop is there! Sorry the directions aren't all that great!

As for Copenhagen.... I didn't see any decent shops when I was there. However, some of the little back streets around the centre are full of second hand / junk shops, so you might turn something up there....

Cheers,

Jon

In respect of Bruge , Chris Lalor ( " Chris L " on SS ) will be the person to contact as he lives in Belgium .

Steve, you would have have loved this place but unfortunately it shut down about 8 months or so ago (vid is of closing day).

I had lots of great R&B 45s off them about a month before they closed.

There were all listed for their bluesy B sides and were only about 5 or 6 euros each (inc the likes of Peppermint Harris / Young Jessie etc etc etc biggrin.gif )

Hope this helps :hatsoff2:

Regards

Bruges is pretty dry when it comes to good records, but as Philippe pointed out if you're in Amsterdam you could do worse than to visit Waxwell records as they have some nice LPs and 45s at good prices.

I only live about half an hour away from Bruges, so you're always welcome to satisfy your vinyl cravings over here too :hatsoff2: . There's also a second hand shop in my town which has a few nice soul LPs from time to time (found Irma Thomas 'Take a look' LP there last week for example)
