and the Modern Redcaps on Rowax - Don't You Hear Them Laughing.

Sounds to me like a classic 100 Club/Stafford beat ballad, but was it ever played by any name DJs on a regular basis does anyone know?

Cliffe Steele for some reason is in my mind, but it's maybe not really a Cliff sound?

Any idea as to scarcity (as opposed to current price)?

Ta in advance

Bloody great record IMHO. Can't recall any one DJ giving this prolonged play, could be my memory though.

Reckon the current price is on a par with rarity, £20ish. Better than many expensive records though.

In the early 90's Roger Banks was playing "Ain't gonna worry about you", i have a strong feeling that he also played this one too? I could be wrong, but? I'm sure someone did.

Banksie was the last 'name' I can remember playing it - apart from you Chalks

I played it (to one man and his dog of course) for years on and off then gave up and sold em all

AGWAY I remember Rob Marriott playing late 80's early 90's.

Was played for years in clubs in London by Alan Handscombe , i remember hearing him spin it in the mid/late 8ts. you could get it then off soul bowl for a few quid.

Top tune but not one to set the dancefloor alight.

Agreed Greg not one to set the dancefloor alight.

Ah thanks everyone, Roger Banks is who it was.

Agree Chalky (and others), it's a great tune - cannot for the life of me understand why rarity should be an issue, given that there are so many records out there. You could go to a 365 nighters are not hear the same record twice if people thought a bit more laterally.
